Street Sweeper Maintenance Building, Wilmington, North Carolina

Cheatham and Associates provided engineering and design services for plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems.

The project was designed using Green Technologies with the goal of a net zero energy bill.  To attain this, roof-mounted photovoltaic power was harvested and utilized to provide solar water heating,  facility power and lighting with interconnection to the utility power system. The project also consisted of radiant floor heating and rainwater captured from roof used for irrigation for surrounding landscape.
